As a young boy (and avid reader) growing up in the south Georgia countryside eager for a world bigger than my own, I was captivated by endless stories of another adventuresome youth who ultimately became America’s renaissance man Theodore Roosevelt. Now as a man, I still naturally lean to the same things that attracted me to those timeless, inspiring Roosevelt stories: overcomer, family man, fearless adventurer, vast range of interests, energized by the outdoors, passionate historian, accomplished communicator.
In his 1898 New York gubernatorial campaign address, Roosevelt implored us todare to be great realize that greatness is the fruit of toil and sacrifice and high courage let us rather run the risk of wearing out than rusting out.
The Theodore Collection is created with our Espresso finish hand-selected, full-grain pebbled chrome tanned leather from US cowhide. It is exquisitely appointed with chocolate full-grain chrome tanned leather accents and smartly placed solid copper rivets.
