The AR500 Armor A2 Ballistic Plate provides Level III+ protection in a thin, low-profile design that prioritizes user mobility. Measuring 8″ x 10″ with a thickness of only .26″, this curved plate is engineered from a custom steel alloy blend to offer high stopping power without excessive weight. It is designed to defeat all pistols and most rifles, including 5.56 M193 and M855 rounds at speeds up to 3,000 FPS. Additionally, the plate features edge-to-edge multi-hit protection and a FragLock Coating to shield the user from spalling and fragmentation.
